Whizzer Brown is incredibly fascinated by the weird, weaselly boy in his English classes who always seems a bit too interested in the rear-ends of the players on his baseball team. It's not difficult to notice when someone's a bit queer. At least not for him. He's always been intrigued by weirdos.
Trina Cohen is a hopeless romantic. And yet, she's always picking the wrong boys. The assholes, the cheaters... her friends keep suggesting she pick a boy who looks lonely enough to be desperate.
Mendel Weisenbachfeld is one of those boys who is oddly interested in psychology. He just can't help but psychoanalyze anyone he comes across, either in his head or aloud. Badly. He does it very badly. It oftentimes gets him into embarrassing situations.
Cordelia Rose is far too energetic for most.
But Charlotte Little balances her out perfectly. The two are peas in a pod-attached at the hip. Quite a surprise to most who know Charlotte as notoriously down to earth.
