When a hero is on patrol in the early afternoon, they have to be ready for anything. One thing that Ochaco hadn't expected to see was an openly affectionate Bakugou Katsuki in an alleyway with his boyfriend. Or... maybe more than boyfriend.
Over the next month, Ochaco thinks she might be becoming one of Bakugou's closest friends. There's no way anything would complicate that, right?

Damn, it was a perfect opening. This was it!
“I,” Kirishima started shakily. “I just wanted to, um, just wanted to tell you that…” That I like you, that I want to date you, that I’d be honored if you’d consider me. That I love you more than I realized I could even love anybody. Shit, he felt light-headed; his heart rate was probably pushing Mach 1. Bakugou’s eyebrow twitched impatiently, and with that tiny movement, Kirishima’s remaining resolve collapsed like a Jenga tower. “…That I might need help on some assignments tonight.”
Damn. This was not it.
Kirishima's mind was set. He absolutely, definitely, 100% was going to confess his feelings to Bakugou. There was just one, teeny-weeny little issue: actually confessing his feelings to Bakugou.
In which Kirishima pines and tries his best, Bakugou gets mixed signals, and their friends laugh.
