Summary
“Do you want me to fuck you?” She whispers.
He shudders against her, his sigh hot on her skin. He cranes his head up, delicate lips parted, his expression so full of yearning it is dizzying. She doubts she’ll get used to seeing him like this. Shades of brown and green and gold dance at the edge of pupils wide with barely restrained desire, their spectacular darkness pulling her in. He longs for her - and her body responds, craving his touch across her skin, her breasts, and between her legs.
“Yes.”

After the Dark Elves, it was quiet. Peaceful. It was too peaceful to be Asgard. The ranks of the concerned, the suspicious, and the wise began to swell.

Summary
Edward Little and Thomas Jopson died on the shale of King William Island. So bumping into each other in a Bloomsbury lecture hall fifty years later comes as something of a surprise. From the Fabian Society to the Three Day Week, from the trenches to the Pyramids to Old Compton Street - in life after life Edward sees Thomas, and remembers. Is this a chance to put things right? Or is the punishment for his failure in the Arctic to spend eternity losing the man he loves?

Summary
George was no devil. He liked to poke at John—prod at him, bring him out of his shell—josh and tease and tell long rambling stories with uncertain morals but he was not, could not be the sort of agent of Satan whom John had long feared would come along and tip him once and for all into perdition. John was sure he would know that man when he saw him: his nature would be unmistakable.
No, the only soul at fault here was John; the only evil here was his own. He had been lax with his devotions, thinking himself too happily content to need them. He had not felt himself about to fall.

Summary
“It’s very nice to meet you,” said the erstwhile ice-cube. He had a warm, deep voice; unaffected by his long sleep as the rest of him. It really was spooky. Francis had looked up the daguerreotype: a rusted and pitted old thing, scanned into some museum’s system, taken nearly two centuries ago of a man who had hardly aged a day since.

Her mother always said, Lovely things have their price.

I will praise thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are thy works, and that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from thee, when I was made in secret, when I was intricately woven in the deepest parts of the earth.
