Summary
No one, it turns out, really knows one another.
(OR: all it takes is a summer-long holiday in Italy, James Potter's teetering mental stability, a secret relationship, friends with benefits, Marlene’s secret, and enough stupidity and insecurity to go around for everything to come crashing down around them.)

Summary
His eyes continued to wander over to Neil who was hunched over his textbooks, fiddling with his pen while he thought over a tough question. But those damn glasses kept Todd under a trance, making him think how Neil looked almost like a puppy with them on. Maybe his hair was soft too...
A loud "thump" echoed in the room, making multiple eyes turn to the sound. Todd's head was laying on the table, being the source of the sound. He had to get rid of those thoughts in some way.
(3 times Todd experiences gay panic over Neil wearing glasses + 1 time Neil has a gay panic over Todd wearing something of his own)

Summary
Surviving meant explaining. Surviving meant sitting here and defending his pain to the very people who had built it into him.
And God, he hated them for it. He hated himself for still breathing.
He hated the bullet that missed the right spot and kept him alive. What the hell am I supposed to say? That I tried to die because Dad is cruel? Because you’re useless? Because I feel like a splinter under my own skin every second of the day?
His pulse throbbed under the gauze, sharp, insistent.
Do I tell you I never fit here, that I thought maybe I’d fit somewhere else, in the afterlife, if there even is one? Do I say it was because I like a boy? Because wanting him, hiding it, watching myself from a distance every day until I couldn’t breathe anymore…it killed me before the bullet did?

Summary
Dear T.A.,
Your voice kept me company last night. You made me cry, in the best way.
Please read Neruda next?
—Neil (the 8AM guy)As a soft-spoken college student with too many thoughts and too little confidence, Todd finds solace in the quiet hours of his anonymous late-night poetry radio show, Between the Lines. He never expects anyone to really listen—until someone does.
Neil Perry is everything Todd isn't: charismatic, popular, and the energetic host of Rise & Shine, the campus morning radio show that everyone adores. But when Neil stumbles across Between the Lines, he becomes captivated by the unseen poet who reads like he’s speaking straight from the heart.
Sticky notes begin to appear. Song dedications follow. And as the snow falls heavier outside, two voices begin to find each other through the static.
An Anderperry story about poetry, vulnerability, and falling in love with someone before you even know their name.
