As always, I was listening to the source/inspo song and was suddenly struck with how similar the energies are - it must hurt to know that the people protecting your city from murderers are mostly teenagers, and you can't keep them safe from it even if you know who they were/could help because you can't even keep yourself safe, living in a hungry city like Gotham.

Hypothetically, if you were drop-kicked into a fantasy world and needed to make a living with no applicable skills other than getting songs stuck in your head, you'd probably want a head start rewriting your favorites to better suit your surroundings, right?
Right.
The majority of these started out inspired by Dragon Age, but some of them suit the general swords & sorcery vibe with little to no adjustment. After a while, I guess this just became the general filk hosting ground? Oops.

Failed marriage if he was honest with himself, and after all the bullshit he had been through in the last few hours, he was more willing than usual to forgo the lies. Holly had long moved on. Christ, she had moved to the other side of the country to get away from him. He was the one clinging on to their broken relationship with bloody, greedy fingers.
He was also pretty sure he had a concussion.
