He tried to keep talking through it, sputtering, “I’m not mad, I just—,” but the words didn’t make it out any more after the chair scraped away from the table and the door to his room shut.

Once more, Taesan’s frontal lobe is working overtime, screaming abort mission you idiot!!! And yet, when he looks at Leehan’s face — the challenge behind the teasing, the weight of the moment pressing down on both of them — he thinks, what the hell. Fuck it.
So he lifts his chin, a little too defiant, and says, “Then what are you waiting for?”
Leehan’s eyes gleam.
(Leehan thinks Taesan can’t last ten minutes of being touched without begging. Taesan argues that he can last twenty in an attempt to prove him wrong. Key word: attempt.)
