Summary
The Phantom Thieves won. Maruki's false reality was put to rest. The world was going to heal. No one but them would remember what happened, to everyone else, life carried on.
Akira Kurusu was going back home. Her time in Tokyo was over, and thus, she was going back home. Even if it felt like she was leaving the only place she'd truly called home. She'd get through it. Even with passing wonders of what her life might've been if Yaldabaoth had never taken over the Velvet Room, she was going to get through it. She'd be fine.
Sae Niijima is... healing. She's learning from her mistakes. Her years of doing everything wrong, and inevitably making Makoto's life worse are behind her. At least, she's trying to put them behind her. She wanted to be better, she really did.
One of them asks a question, the other is offered a deal.
And suddenly, it's 2009 and neither of them know what is going, why it's happening, where they are, or why Mitsuru Kirijo looks at Sae like that.
(or: after the events of Persona 5 Royal, Sae and Akira (and by extension, Morgana) are flung back to Gekkoukan High School in 2009 with no understanding of what, exactly, they're supposed to do with that)

Summary
Cordelia is one of the most well-respected, up and coming actresses in Hollywood. She loves the art, and she would do anything to make sure her movies make an impact and succeed in spreading the messages she believes they're supposed to. She takes her career seriously, and she can't stand actors that don't.
Sumia is an actress trying to escape her 'Disney'-esque reputation. She wants the world to take her seriously as an adult, and not as the former child star/musician that used to be in every ad campaign in the world. She knows she can act, and she just needs the right opportunity to prove it.
And when Sumia is cast in a movie with Cordelia, she thinks it's her chance to really prove herself as the talent she knows she is.
If only Cordelia would stop glaring at her every second of the day.

She really isn't sure how to feel about any of this, honestly.

Summary
They say history has a tendency to repeat itself. Akira wouldn't know much about that—he doesn't tend to get philosophical unless he's hanging around angry, hot detectives who like to ask him difficult questions for the hell of it. What he does know is that repeating history doesn't tend to involve repeating time. Or, at least, he's pretty sure that's how it's meant to go. Sure, Akechi's dead but now he's ten years old again so... no harm no foul? Yeah, he's totally changing the future. It's pretty damn confusing how he ended up hunting shadows when the sky turns green, but Akira tends to roll with the punches when it comes to these things.
Akechi has no proof that it's Akira's fault that he's five feet tall again, but he's absolutely going to murder him for it. As soon as he figures out his whole foster family situation. Luckily, it's quite easy to plant evidence to frame your actually abusive foster parents for abuse when you have so much experience in the matter. Ah, a new foster family. In Inaba, was it? Now, Akechi didn't have high hopes for the Dojimas, but as long as he ended up with a merely neglectful foster family instead of a straight up abusive one, then he wasn't too picky about the matter.

Summary
Turning away from the window, Mitsuru laces her fingers together and lets them hang in front of her. She leans gently against the wall. “Are you all right, Yukari?”
“Still asking me that, huh?” Yukari smiles wryly as she comes to join her friend. Rather than face Mitsuru, Yukari takes her earlier position of staring out the window, gazing over the skyline. This is a view she’s not the most familiar with, having spent most of her time in her room, or on the dorm’s roof, or else in the common areas. Mitsuru’s room, she hasn’t entered much, even since getting closer with her upperclassman; she simply hasn’t found a good reason to. She sort of regrets it now. “You know, you lost her too.”
Her, being Kotone, who nobody has mentioned by name in weeks.

Dimitri turns around. Professor Byleth stares at him blankly. It’s kind of intense. Dimitri would feel uncomfortable, but yesterday Dimitri caught Byleth squatting and staring at a cat like that, so Dimitri knows he isn’t special. “Excuse me?”
“You asked what Sothis would say to you,” Byleth elaborates unhelpfully. Professor Byleth. The Professor. “That’s what she says. She says your haircut sucks. I don’t agree with her. Your haircut is very nice, Dimitri.”
Someone probably should have told Byleth that the Goddess was named Sothis.
