Saiki is intimately aware of how the human brain functions and all of the lows and highs that the regular person experiences, as he gets older he learns how to selectively tune it out. High school is the hardest part, he has to deal with the overwhelming thoughts of all teenage drama such as unrequited crushes, bullying, self-esteem issues, and the list goes on. He'd never admit it but he found comfort in his little group of friends, Nendou not being capable of experiencing self doubt and Kaidou's delusional fantasies keep him sane.
But as the third, and final, year of High School approaches, it slowly but surely all goes to shit.
