The soft lines of Eddie against his back as he stands over the stove. His arms wrapped around Eddie's hips when he's up to his elbows in dirty dishes. The soft press of lips upon each other's skin, the thumb at the base of his throat, massaging the skin when Eddie's giving his shoulder a comforting squeeze. The easy days, mornings, and nights together with Chris. The gentle words whispered in ears at home, at the station, on a scene. Limbs tangled in bed from holding one another through the night.
They don't talk about it.
At least not until they do.

Summary
Thorin's recovery from the Battle of the Five Armies was a long and arduous one, but there was one little thing that made up for it: a hobbit. While Thorin recovered, he and Bilbo spent a lot of time together, which only solidified the feelings each one had for the other. Once Thorin does heal, both get wrapped up in other things, leading to less time for communication and more time for miscommunication. Will this stubborn pair finally tell each other how they feel, or will their assumptions get the best of them?
Prompts: 1. Bilbo and Thorin are roommates. [Either] comes home to a candlelit dinner thinking [the other] has a date. They had no idea the date was for them. 2. Thorin is forced to choose between a future with Bilbo and the future his people seemingly demand of him.

Summary
There comes a time in many long-term relationships when the idea of marriage comes up. In the case of Thorin and Bilbo, however, they have yet to truly broach the topic. After a few years together, though, their families have had no issues with hounding both about when the big day will come. what started as headcanons but turned into a blurb of what I imagine being batmom with endometriosis would be like and how the family would support you through it
REQUEST: when I read in your guidelines that you had chronic pain, I was ecstatic - that's exactly the ask I've been wanting to leave for weeks, a batboys x reader where the reader has chronic pain (I have endometriosis and fibromyalgia). Maybe how the boys take care of and accommodate reader's needs?

They both look up at once and go quiet at the sight of you. Jack straightens, and Samira pushes off the counter, expression going slack. They both look… Caught.
Oh. Your mind reels at the sight, confusion morphing into hurt as you take it in. Jealousy grips you by the throat so hard you can’t breathe.
“I’ll– I’ll come back.” You manage to say, turning heel and practically fleeing.
Samira calls your name, but you don’t stop, don’t even hear her. Jack doesn’t say anything. Just watches you leave, jaw tight, like he wants to say something and doesn’t know how.
OR
you and jack break up over hurt feelings and misunderstandings, and when samira joins the night shift, your relief turns into jealousy as you start to believe he’s moving on — unaware that all he wants is to get you back.
