so SO beyond adorable!!! this is the sweetest blend of angst, domestic fluff, a heartwarming ending, and SO many funny moments sprinkled throughout. aside from the fact that is a vampire au frerard fic (which i will always be a sucker for lets be fr) this is an impeccable romance. i will recommend this to anyone regardless if they're into vampire stories or not, because the relationship development alone is worth the read.
100000/10!!! need to reread!!!

Summary
Gerard didn’t think he would make it past the age of 25. It just never seemed to be in the cards for him. The world he lived in was not meant for people like him. That’s why at the age of 26, somehow still kicking, he found himself adrift, attending weekly group therapy sessions for suicide survivors and scrambling to make a list of all the reasons he shouldn’t try again.
He certainly never expected the newest, aggressively hostile member of the therapy group - Frank, who seems to hate everyone and everything on principle - to become the next bullet point on that list.

extremely devastatingly beautiful. i have such mixed feelings about this work but none of those feelings are bad!! sometimes i forget how much fanfiction can get to me (i read too many freaky oneshots i guess), but this one definitely got to me. as someone struggling with wanting to live, with wanting to keep going despite how difficult and tedious everything feels, this connected with me deeply. seeing how gerard and eventually frank found reasons to keep going and eventually end up happy gives me a sense of hope that no other piece of work could (except for maybe collide with the sky by pierce the veil lol)
1000/10. i will definitely come back to reread this sometime. honestly i wish i could go back and read it again for the first time. nothing can compare to how heavily i sobbed when i first read chapter 14. maybe i shouldn't have been listening to radiohead at that time!
(also need to note that this author is EXTREMELY talented. i'm keeping up with like multiple of their works now - shoutout to the priestrard fanfic)
