“To eat.” Your voice was muffled in the blanket, saliva pooling between your incisors and canines. He laughed at you, deep and mean. It ignites your skin, sends a wild flurry of goosebumps up your arms, and you don’t answer properly, you don’t even try. Because with a sinking feeling in your gut, you realize that he could strike you against your cheek right here, right now, and you would kneel at his feet and say thank you.
