Yoichi Isagi was never meant to be on the field.

At 18, while 300 strikers are locked in a battle for Japan’s future, Isagi walks the halls of Blue Lock, not as a player, but as the program’s in-house infirmary assistant. Hired by Teieri Anri, his job is simple: monitor vitals, restock on equipment or other stuff, patch up injuries, and quietly keep the monsters alive.
He blends into the background. He’s not a rival, not a threat. Just a quiet boy with a clipboard and calm hands.
So why can’t they stop noticing him?
The egoists, the geniuses, he prodigies clawing their way to the top.
One by one, they start turning their eyes, not toward the goalposts, but toward him.He’s not part of the game.
But somehow… he’s becoming the goal.He doesn’t chase goals anymore, but he becomes one, emotionally, for others. Quiet, yearning, poetic.

Against his chest, Zanka shifts. The ends of a heavy breath brushes the exposed skin of his collarbones. In the silence of a midnight room, he can hear how he chews at his lips before they part, then close without a word. A hand slowly crawls up his torso to fist his shirt.
"I promise."
Enjin pushes him down.
Or, Enjin finds out about Zanka's relationship with Jabber, and offers an alternative.

"Gummy?" He looked over at Kon questioningly while Recovery Girl went to her desk. "You didn't mention that to me after your exams."
Kon scratched his cheek.
"It's for raising your blood sugar, her quirk makes it drop so she gives you a way to raise it quickly." He explained before Recovery Girl could. "She's partial to hero shaped gummies."
Tim hummed. A small packet of All Might gummies hit him between the eyes before he could catch it.
"Have a nice day, Dears!"
