Summary
As the Nightsisters fall, the most powerful Nightbrother in known history is returned to Dathomir. Talzin would be a fool not to take advantage of it.
Maul finds himself in a galling predicament. Bound and reliant upon the Nightsister magicks of Talzin, he and Savage are made little more than unwilling pawns in her goal to take revenge for Grevious' attack on Dathomir.
It's a detestably familiar state of affairs for Maul— and one that he is not at all inclined to permit.

Summary
He has to admit, the chair is good.
It certainly isn't Citadel work. Citadel work runs redundancy on everything, which is precisely why Citadel work always has a weak point somewhere. This one doesn't. He can see the modifications clearly, every one of them based on knowledge collected from hundreds, if not thousands, of scanned Ricks.
But that's the problem.
Prime's grin widens.
The knowledge came from scanned Ricks.

Summary
“You are not currently dead. But one day you will be, as will I. And when your time comes, it will be before mine.”
This is the truth, yes. Flins states it with such candor that Varka strangely finds himself wanting to laugh. How long is a typical lifespan in the eyes of a fae who can stretch the embers of his flames to a period that can only be described as a hair’s breadth away from eternity?
For Flins, how much of the candle burns between the words not yet and now?
Varka begins to notice Flins’s growing collection of specific items.
