Summary
They're having breakfast when he tells them. He only remembers because he'd dreamed weird again last night. This time it was an older boy, who was trying to stop a little golden-haired baby from crying.
“What,” says Mom, in that flat voice she gets when she's trying not to sound surprised.
“...what?” says Dad, who clearly hadn't been listening. That's fine, Shane forgets to listen too, sometimes.
“I keep dreaming people I don't know,” Shane repeats patiently. He can be patient.
Shane Hollander habitually ends up in other people's dreams, which is fine. It's a family trait, on both sides, to slip into the dreams of the people you love. What's less fine is how Shane keeps dreaming strangers.
Or: like if a soulmates au took several detours.

Summary
At any rate, it goes like this: Eddie gets dumped, or he does the dumping. He mopes around, taking comfort from Steve, and Steve likes to pretend that Eddie’s all his. Then, Eddie inevitably goes stir-crazy and goes out. Hooks up with a guy, then two, and inevitably ends up dating one of them.
And that’s when Steve seduces him.
Not Eddie, of course. Steve doesn’t think he can do that. Steve doesn’t know how. Eddie doesn’t even know he likes men.
No, he just fucks Eddie’s boyfriends.
In an act of profound dysfunction and self-destruction, Steve Harrington develops the unfortunate habit of sabotaging Eddie's relationships by sleeping with his partners. This inevitably blows up in his face, but the fallout isn't what he expected.

Summary
"I mean take care of him. You can't just let him run wild, Wheeler. Let him jump you in every bathroom, let him hump your leg like a bitch in heat."
Steve makes a noise, squirming, hands on his lap.
"That's," Nancy's appalled. "That's sexist! You can't say that about omegas!"
"I'm not saying it about omegas," says Carol, nonplussed, "I'm saying it about Steve."
Or, Carol gives Nancy a crash course in keeping Steve Harrington in check.

Summary
Josie points at the biggest letters. “What’s it say?”
Mom kneels in front of the stone, pulling her lightly into her lap. “Want to try sounding it out?”
Josie nods, and Mom gently steers her finger to trace the first letter, a large S.
“Sss,” Josie tries, and Mom nods, so she keeps going. “Tuh. Ee. Vee. Ee.” She furrows her brow, concentrating, and then declares, “Stevie-E.”
“Close.” Mom leans back again, gently placing a bouquet of pink flowers down. “Steve.”
“Steve,” she echoes.
“Steve.” Mom’s voice softens. “His name was Steve.”
Steve Harrington dies. Decades later, Dustin Henderson resurrects him.
This is not that story. That story’s already been told. No, this is about what comes after.

Summary
“You ought to face me for what you’ve done,” the boy repeated, stepping closer.
And it took Ilya a moment to recognize who he was, for he was wearing plain clothes, and few ever heard him speak. But the face of the emperor’s young consort was unmistakable, even warped by grief and rage and fear all at once as it was. Dark haired, freckled and still soft-faced, the most beautiful brown eyes the galaxy had ever seen.
-
Or, a royalty/star wars AU in which Ilya overthrows the emperor, and Shane is the emperor's surviving consort. What is to be done?

Summary
In 1987, during a brief thaw of the Cold War, David Hollander falls in love with the right person at exactly the wrong time.
For a few impossible months in Montreal, David and Soviet exchange student Grigori Rozanov build a life in the space between closing doors before the pressures of reality tear them apart. One of them learns how to open another. The other spends the rest of his life standing in front of the one that shut.
Decades later, their sons inherit the consequences.
Spanning continents, generations, and thirty years of history, this is ultimately not a love story but a meditation on what happens after one falls apart. On the futures we lose. The ones we build instead. And the choices that echo outward through families for decades: whether loving deeply means accepting the risk of loss, or whether loss is proof that love itself is too dangerous to survive.
Because grief can either lead to a locked door or an open one.

Summary
Ilya Rozanov won't pretend like he hasn't noticed Shane Hollander. He's noticed him every week since Hollander took his hand at the Junior's competition. He has seen every commercial, every poster, and every paparazzi photo. He watches Hollander's post game interviews and has dreams of licking the sweat off his body.
... But he does find it interesting that Hollander is the only hockey player to make Ilya feel this way--the only dream that rivals all his other distractions.
After seven years of his hopeless—frankly, lustful—crush on Hollander, they meet for the all star game in Tampa Bay. All it takes is a handshake, two drinks, and the best game of Ilya's life for him to decide he's going to give it all up.
He decides to move to Hollander's hometown and steal his heart.
