Summary
Hyrule could deal with the fall of the city.
Hyrule could deal with the time loop.
But both at once seems a bit much to ask of a guy.
The memory loss following his apparent death in a previous loop isn't helping.
He can't remember this place, or how long it's been, or this Legend guy who says he knows him, or how to fight the giant metal laser spider monsters, or anything at all since he stepped through that first portal, really.
But he's here now and this problem isn't going to solve itself.
This ain't his first apocalypse.

Summary
So here’s the dealio.
Once upon a time a group of time travelling weirdos gave 10 year olds Link and Zelda a shadow crystal thingy so that Shadow’s future Heroic Sacrifice™ might be a little less… sacrificial.
And it was great! For like, more than a decade they all got to grow up together all alive and happy! But things fall apart as they do, and Link died, and some time loop scheme Shadow honestly wasn’t paying that much attention to (he tried, okay?) has been enacted.
Now Shadow’s joined the time travelling weirdos, and one of them is a Link who’s years younger than his who never managed to save his Shadow.
Things are messy. Things are stressy.
But they have a time loop to close to save Shadow and maybe to save Link, and whatever.
He’ll wing it.
What could go wrong?

That whole thing. The circumstances.
So Wind wouldn't say he was surprised when someone finally cracked and tried to knock out the Captain's teeth.
He just wasn't expecting it to be Four.

Summary
It's over.
Shadow is dead, Vaati and Ganon are defeated, and Princess Zelda is safe.
The Colours return the Four Sword and once again become Link.
Seconds later a portal opens beneath him.
Or: Four starts his LU quest immediately following the events of FSA. He and the Colours haven't figured out how to function as a single person again yet.

- ALTTP Link completes the Palace of the Four Sword. What does he do with the Sword?
- The Chain is newly formed and Legend just needs a couple of hours to himself or he's gonna murder someone, okay?
- Young Legend met the chain, he knows Koholint is false, but also what he'll have to face when he leaves.
- Wind is a responsible young man and has a very responsible day.
- Four finds a fairy charm. Unfortunately Hyrule is also present.

How much is one boy’s life worth?
How much is a broken timeline worth?
At 14 years old the Hero of Legend is skipping back and forth through Labrynna’s history to save an Oracle.
At 9 years old the not-yet-Hero-of-Time is set to die and become the Fallen Hero.
These events overlap in time but not place. The existence of one boy hinging on the death of the other.
The Chain are split between them.

Summary
This is fine, everything is fine.
Sure, Legend’s back in the Dark World, site of some minor boyhood (and bunnyhood) trauma, but he’s got a Moon Pearl, and so does Four, and Sky has the Master Sword. That’s three of them who don’t have to deal with the Dark World transformation curse!
And okay, maybe he’ll have to explain all this a little bit, but he can just leave out that part about the shadows with Four’s face and sword who almost murdered him as an 11 year old. It’s not like it’ll come up.
The odds of said 11 year old being anywhere around are probably super low too, right?
