    Summary

Higuruma knows two of those names. Has only met Gojo, obviously, but knows of Nanami Kento through Itadori, and Ino, and Ijichi, and Shoko herself. He sounded like a decent man. A good man, even, and one who’s missed nearly as much as Gojo, if by fewer people. The other two are less than ghosts; Yuu, he’s never heard of before, and Suguru tugs at his memory faintly, but ultimately yields no connection.

    Summary

A drop of water, startlingly cool, hits Hiromi’s forehead. Then another. He’s surprised they don’t hiss and evaporate on contact for how hot he feels, but he’s grateful for the relief, grateful even more when a cool cloth presses against his forehead. He doesn’t dare open his eyes again, refuses to look upon the visage of his savior, but it jerks him back from his downward spiral.

A groan escapes his lips, one verging on ecstasy.

“Hey, now,” a voice says, stern but quiet—admonishing, but also teasing. “You’re not supposed to be awake yet.”

[Or: after Shinjuku, Higuruma Hiromi wakes up.]

    Summary

"Where does it go?" Varka's warm hands on his shoulders again, drawing him closer until he collides with heat and fabric and a strong, sturdy body beneath. Flins' eyes stay open. His gaze sticks to the azure of Varka's coat. "Where does all that hurt go, if we can't see it?"

Inside, he supposes. Inside his cold, aching chest, where his flames aren't enough to burn it away.

Finally, Flins shuts his eyes, fingers hooking in fabric, mouth pressed to Varka's shoulder behind layers of fabric. Fool, he thinks again, and imagines himself biting down. Varka has never seemed to know not to get so close.

Flins' body doesn't carry his scars. Varka is the first to see that, and, perhaps, the first to care.

    Summary

Long has the honor of Kremnos fallen. Upon the news that the Crown Prince lives, in yet another fit of cowardice, King Eurypon hires an assassin on the eve of his son’s 25th birthday to take care of him. He should have known, however, that the only person foolish enough to accept the job would have also been foolish enough to fall in love.

It wouldn’t have been a problem—if only the Undying Prince hadn’t fallen in love too.

Ten-thousand scars. Ten-thousand lives. His own and not his own, twined and tangled into an inextricable loop across a million identical timelines, all the way back to that first iteration, that first utter and damning mistake.

    Who died?

    Or more importantly: what survived?

33 million cycles, and all the long years in-between.
