Summary
"Sorry for trying to kill you, but it wouldn't have worked, anyway. There's no ammo in this thing, and I'm running low on this one.”
Bryan nearly gives Leon a heart attack when he lifts his shirt and shows a haphazardly stuffed handgun that's sticking out of the waistband of his jeans.
“Don't put that there,” Leon says hurriedly, willing his heart to calm down. He keeps imagining the horror of it going off and blowing clean through Bryan's femur. “And - hey, wait. That's a standard glock that's issued to all American officers. Did you steal that?”
Bryan at least has the decency to blush in embarrassment as he hastily shoves the hem of his shirt back down.

Summary
A series of interconnected Resident Evil stories, because I refuse to let my favorite little stars burn out (like they often do in canon). While they are not all required reading to understand each other, I figure it is helpful if they are all in a series together. Happy reading, my little evil residents!

Bookmarker's Notes
a tragedy of a different sort. not a father-to-be failing to make it home once he's decided on his determination to protect that new life; but some journeys are all about the journey, and the destination is a state-of-mind. hard for that to be fitting when you're a courier with an empty package.

(YOU ARE DEAD)
(Loading...loading...)
The car’s headlights blinded me. Maxine stepped out, gun drawn, wearing a severe frown as she checked me over with her eyes.
“Yes, shit, a check point!” I held up my arms and tipped my head back. “Fuck you, virus!”
“He’s acting weird," a voice called from the vehicle.
“You know what, fuck you too Paul!”
Or, Bryan gets a second chance to deliver the antidote. And a third...and a fourth...and a fifth...
