“What do you want from me, Izuku?” Katsuki asks, voice smaller than he’d like it to be, unsteady. “Why did you come here?”
“I—I wanted to see Kacchan.”
“You saw him. Here he is.”
Katsuki swings his free arm in a wide arc. Izuku’s eyes follow it. From the kitchen, to the All Might poster on the wall, to the UA graduation picture of him and Izuku smiling under the cherry blossoms that sits in a small frame on his bookshelf. There are more things he hasn’t bothered to unpack yet, gathering dust in cardboard boxes in the back of his closet. These were the most important. Katsuki has to be careful about where he puts his limited energy these days.
Or, Katsuki plans to spend his Christmas Eve by himself. It doesn’t quite go that way.

The person Seokjin was describing last night couldn’t have been further from Taehyung’s personality. ‘Bad’ isn’t a word that’s ever been associated with him – he strives to be great at everything he does. And in terms of a ‘bad boy’, well, there’s definitely room for improvement. A mountain of room, actually. So much room that the room is entirely empty, void of any bad boy-ness.
If he’s going to get Seokjin to like him back, he needs to prove that he can be bad. He needs Seokjin to see past the good boy persona that everyone else sees. He needs him to believe that Taehyung can be – that he is – bad.- OR -

Taehyung bows at his waist, his polite smile unwavering. Seokjin notes the lack of real emotion behind his dark brown eyes, and he wonders if Taehyung has made a similar observation about him. He likes to think he’s good at saving face. The doors to the hall shut, the two now left alone, and Seokjin must put effort into not shifting anxiously. Taehyung has a gaze so piercing it seems to linger even when it’s no longer on him.
“It’s an honor to meet you,” Seokjin says.
Taehyung raises his right hand, and Seokjin follows etiquette and brings the back of it to his lips in a chaste kiss. He can feel Taehyung’s body heat even through the silk and lace of his gloves.
“The honor is mine, Seokjin-ssi,” Taehyung replies, tone flat.
