The longer it went on, the more time Chan had to think as they spent more and more time in each other's arms and less time next to him. Most of that thinking was about them and their new situation; he lived with them, after all. His entire world revolved around them—it had since the moment since he'd settled on the final lineup and taken all of the boys in under his proverbial wing. From the moment he woke up in the morning to the moment he finally went to sleep at night, he was thinking about them and how he could do best by them. They'd saved him, and they knew it. He knew they did, because he'd told them. They knew how much he adored them. But… no, they didn't seem to understand just how deeply his feelings for them actually ran.
That, or they didn't care.
And the more time he had to think, the more he was beginning to feel like the latter was the case.-

When they’d finished laughing, a slightly tense silence settled over them. Chan knew how to break it but nerves exploded in his stomach at the thought of it. Luckily, Minho had always been far braver than he was.
“I miss you, Channie.” He said, gazing down at the warm noodles and mixing them softly with his chopsticks. “I know we said it could never work out, but I’m sick of this fucking bone-deep ache every time I look at you.”

Chan never really got over the brief romantic relationship he shared with Minho a few years ago. His sappy little bubble messages are the last straw for his long-suffering friends. If Chan won't try to win Minho back on his own, they'll just have to make it happen themselves.
