The first cycle of Bluestreak's life was also his worst, the memories are still ingrained into his processor. They rewind and play across his optics, focusing in on the moment that changed his life forever. Bluestreak watches through his younger self's optics.
He watches himself choose that strange mech, a sparkling reaching out with determined fortitude and processor set on a single goal. He chose who his creator would be and nothing else mattered. Nothing could change what was written so deeply into his code that it became engraved on his spark.

“Prowl?” Jazz asks. “Are you okay?”
The tactician’s optics refocus and blink, finally falling onto Jazz’s face. “I don’t know.”
Protocols kick Jazz in the back of the helm and his frame jolts before he can think, standing himself up and drawing his lover closer. “What’s wrong? What hurts?”
“My spark feels funny,” Prowl replies in a dazed sense, his voice floating between tones as he adds, “I think maybe the new spark is separating.”
