Old mare's tales have never been a big part of Twilight Sparkle's life. While yes, most were rooted in a nugget of truth--a bundle of lavender under the pillow helps with sleep, honey helps heal the wound from a bee sting--she also knows that they can be exaggerated, a way to teach young fillies about the world around them. So, she usually pushed them to the side in favour of her studies.
But, one year she finds an unsettling connection between one mare's tale and a prophecy of an ancient villain's return. She can't make sense of every part of the myth, but she does know that she will do everything in her power to save Equestria.In other words, my rewrite of the first 2 episodes.

Summary
Being dragged into an unknown universe with far too black and white definitions of 'Hero' and 'Villain' is not what Atsushi would call a vacation. However, unfortunately, Dazai thought otherwise. Thus, he found himself an unwilling employee to a Café co-owned by Chuuya and Dazai, along with Akutagawa and Kyouka as his equally unwilling coworkers. And Dazai decided they are all masquerading as some sort of fucked up post adoption family? He wasn't sure why for that one.
Not to mention a chance encounter with one Midoriya Izuku would only lead to them deciding to overthrow a system that hinges on discrimination of quirkless individuals. Again, not the most ideal vacation spot.

say it with me now: another! BSD! MHA! crossover!!!!!! i really have fallen in love with this one. the concept of this is not only unique but very well written. i love how the dynamics between the characters are written. also omg throwback to when i only ever read MHA fics this has my favourite underrated/fanon trio. izuku shinsou AND mei???? the trio ever
