“I’m just saying,” he started again, “things keep going wrong. We used to be better at this.”
“We used to have someone who did all the homework,” Lydia muttered.
“And who thought about traps,” Kira added.
“And backup plans,” said Boyd.
“And bribed the janitor to let us into the boiler room so we could kill that sewer wraith,” said Isaac.
Scott blinked. “Wait, what?”
“Don’t worry about it,” Erica grinned. “Point is, Stiles handled logistics. All of them. Quietly. And you let him.”
Jackson, ever the tactful one, said, “You guys were codependent as hell and now your emotional support gremlin doesn’t come around and we’re all going to die.”
“Can we not call him a gremlin?” Derek growled.Or: The Pack realizes how much they relied on Stiles, but they believe they've lost him forever. Peter isn't helpful, so they come up with the most ridiculous ways to get him "pack" (hehe).

The pride in his dad's voice made him puff out his chest. Maybe he'd only been able to stand going for two years, but he'd nearly killed himself to get his BA in Social and Criminal Justice as quickly as fucking possible. The Nemeton and his dad had been lures too strong to ignore... which was another reason why he and Lydia wouldn't work anymore. He wanted, needed to be in Beacon Hills, and she was ready to move on to the larger world beyond that. She'd nearly clawed out his eyes when she found out he was 'limiting himself'. Come to think of it, shit like that might be why his wolf disliked her so damn much.
"He'll be a good mate. If he says yes."

Either way he swore he would never set a foot back on either of them, but the Assembly doesn’t give a damn about personal oaths, it seems, because he gets sent there when the Nemeton is found to be in danger.
He’s not very impresed with Alpha Hale’s management of the territory.

Or maybe Lydia would be Pennyworth, she feels more like a Pepper, but then we’re mixing Marvel and DC and that’s--” Stiles cut himself off and then looked at Scott with a raised brow, “Wait, is this about that throw away comment I made outside the school months ago?”

Stiles and Peter return to Beacon Hills at the behest of the Sheriff, Stiles’ dad, to help out with a little situation. Things were good, quiet at home and Stiles was getting just a tad bit bored and welcomed something to do, even if it meant going back to Beacon Hills. But then what was intended to be a simple in and out, turns into something a little bit more complicated and now involves two counties and his former pack. And nothing is more complicated or dangerous than when Stiles gets bored.

Stiles left the pack as he went to college running away when they all betrayed him he threw himself into his premed bachelors degree finishing the four year course in three years as he worked over the summer, he completed his four years in medical school getting a medical degree and the happiest day of his life was flipped upside down when he sees the pack in the audience smiling up at him like they hadn't broke his heart.
so he ran away secretly joining the army and becoming an army doctor for four years, he manages to survive getting back home and joining a SWAT team before he's called back to Beacon Hills when his father is shot.
He has to deal with his father being shot, Derek and his dad being close and how the hell will he tell his father instead of doing doctors without borders like he'd thought he'd been getting shot at and almost blew up a few times?
