"I'm hallucinating now," Damian muttered to himself, as the boy stared at him, uncertainly, "Mhm, pretty sure I'm not a hallucination."
"That's what a hallucination would say, Richard," he said, knowing he sounded petulant. Whatever the Galra had given him to keep him quiet, it was stronger than many of the drugs he had become accustomed to during his training with the League of Assassins.
It was only for this reason that he risked falling forward. Fortunately for him, he was promptly grabbed by the boy. It was a strong, solid grip, and definitely not a hallucination.
Damian looked up, meeting eyes that reminded him of a dead man, and the other said, "You confused me with another person. My name is not Richard. It's Lance."
(During his imprisonment on an alien ship, after sacrificing himself to save Earth, Damian meets a boy who reminds him terribly of his dead brother. He can't be who he believes, but the resemblance is striking, and Damian just wants to believe that something left by Dick Grayson still exists.)

South Park children could be considered Chaotic Neutral at best. Despite many attempts at being Good. Though all could be agreed that crippling the Joker was the most Good anyone had ever done in the history of existence. Now if only Batman could be thankful and let sleeping dogs lie instead of sticking his nose into business halfway across the country. South Park may be completely batshit itself but the Freedom Pals have it handled, don't they? (Discontinued for Rewrite in alt Fic)
Now these two worlds collide and vigilantes meet their match.

‘Glad this place is empty,’ Jason thought as he, too, stood up, ready to fight.
“Nah, leave this to me,” Danny looked over his shoulder at Jason. “I’ve got this.”
Jason didn’t know if he should argue, but it was too late as Danny threw himself at the ghost with his bat raised high.
“You know what, why not,” Jason sighed, sitting down to eat his food before it got cold. He could see Kira watching the fight with nothing more than a pinched expression.
“Stay still–OW! DID YOU JUST FUCKING BITE ME?!” The ghost screeched, the sound of energy blasts and bodily harm background noise to Jason’s inner monologue (‘I wonder if I can frame a picture of the Joker’s bloody body in the manor without B freaking out?’).
“THAT’S WHAT YOU GET, BITCH!”

No one knew how it started, but at some point, a Bat adoption bait of a kid started running around the U.S of the DC universe, chased by a gaggle of glowing green ghost cops.
His reasoning?
"We're playing tag."
(They were not, in fact, playing tag. Danny has multiple warrants for his arrest from Walker that he refuses to elaborate on or comply with.)

Summary
Have you ever been put into a situation where you have to sit down with yourself? Nothing is wrong, everything has been actually going pretty well for yourself over time. Now physically speaking, that shouldn't be possible but for Danny it was fairly easy. Annoyingly so, especially once he finally comes to the conclusion that he's only been able to talk to himself for the last century or so.
Now that's not saying that he doesn't talk to other ghosts it's just that he only is able to talk to other ghosts. And a lot of the times it tends to be people he already knows well enough that it's getting repetitive. So he decides to take it upon himself to interact with humans again which is nice. Spoiler warning it does not go well for him.
Danny tends to forget that humans are not as blunt as he supposed to be and he is quite literal about everything that people don't realize that he is not lying or they think he's rude. Here I present a few times Danny has run into someone accidentally not acting as normal as he could be. In no particular order.
