Summary
Another take on Abaddon's backstory.. If you're into that.
Winter is coming early this year. The town has to work quicker than usual to get ready for the harsh season to come. But to Father Abram, it seems like the harder the work gets, the more eager his son is to intrude where he shouldn't. Isaac, his young, sickly son, spends most of his time in the house. His father worries that a meek boy like him is susceptible to evil and illness with his fragile condition. But it seems the harder he pushes him to stay put and behave, the worse things get. After an incident of sneaking from the house, Isaac faces further isolation as punishment, but before he can, he meets a peculiar creature in the yard who claims to want to exchange favors.
Father Abram thinks his son is too weak to survive the outside world, and Isaac wants to prove something small and weak can still be important. A series of unfortunate situations seems to prove everyone in the situation right in the worst way possible.

Nathan accidentally becomes the owner of the Undervale through a card game not long after he escapes his twelfth cult and feels trapped, miserable, lonely and unsure what to do with his life or how to really face his family. He was warned about the demon who lived on the property but can't stop himself from wanting to get closer to the boy.

Summary
Esther's careless summoning drags a priest out of spiritual limbo and traps him on the hotel grounds. He has a twisted ankle that won't heal, a tragic past he won't talk about, and unfortunately shares a house with the demon he once tried to exorcise.
Now he's stuck navigating a world three centuries beyond his understanding and a very vengeful housemate.
The Undervale Hotel's chaos just found a new victim.

Summary
Abaddon struggles to accept the mortality of his human found family after the timeloops, while Katherin struggles with expensive hotel renovations. As if things couldn't get worse, Esther develops a sudden terminal mystery illness. Abaddon has to literally pull his friend from a grave. Tensions are high, especially for Katherine who now feels like she has to choose between medical bills or putting a roof over her kids' heads.
(There's going to be moments where it's implied that Esther and Ben were put into dangerous situations by Ron; some of these situations involve child predators and abuse, but there will be no actual description of the events.) -

After a spell goes wrong, Abaddon is no longer trapped in the body of a 9 year-old, rather he is trapped in the body of a kitten. Much to Katherine’s dismay, her and Nathan are stuck keeping the (even smaller) demon out of trouble, while Esther tries to reverse the spell.
