Summary
Adam and Quill are all that's left of the Guardians after they found out about Quill's abuse of Mantis' telepathy. They're left to fight the Universal Church of Truth alone, which proves to be nearly impossible. They're forced to recruit other factions---including previous guardians---to have any hope in winning against the church. During this time, Adam and Quill form a bond that will prove to be deadly for the both of them.
