The aftermath of the battle at Manaforge Omega has left Alleria furious and conflicted.
Xal’atath escapes with the Dark Heart, Dimensius’ essence safely tucked into her pocket. Wracked by guilt and anger, Alleria sets her sights on hunting her down again, aided by Sylvanas Windrunner, who has been summoned back from the Maw to assist in defending Azeroth from Xal’atath’s inevitable return.

The Prince of Stormwind is ill, and has been for nearly a month; or that's the official story being fed to the populace anyway. But Wrathion knows better than to believe that lie. His Blacktalon agents are everywhere as his eyes and ears, even within Stormwind Keep itself, and he knows something deeper is wrong. His agents can't get close enough to the Prince to tell for sure, as he seems to be isolated in his rooms with only choice staff allowed near him, but the whispers they do hear tell a much more dire story. One word gets repeated over and over in hushed tones among the people that are allowed near him:
Vampire.

Elena Harrowstrider comes as both a stranger and a friend. A slate not too clean, not too sullied by the burdens of champions, to help Anduin embrace his new reality.
But who knows how years apart can wear on old bonds.
The story follows a human rogue who’s just making the best out of the circumstances outside of her Stormwind army pay. As she follows Anduin to Khaz Algar, she finds that throwing a few knives is enough to fight for the Alliance, but not for Azeroth.
