Summary
Andy and Lorna have formed a special, family-like bond since they joined the Hellfire Club. It's because of this that he's the one she trusts to protect her daughter, and she makes him promise to do so.
Lorna knew her daughter was special. Since the day Dawn was born, Lorna could tell that she would grow up to be a mutant whose power would only be rivaled by the Struckers.
Unfortunately, she wasn't the only one who noticed this, as Reeva Payge could also tell the potential power of the baby, and wanted it for herself, and she only had one person in her way, or so she thought.
Because Andy is going to keep that promise. No matter what it takes.

Lauren had always had this, not really voice exactly, but this will in her mind that didn’t belong to her. A sort of impression that urged her to do, or not do things. Something that pushed her to put more effort into school then she cared too.
It wanted her to pay attention, to think, always. She’d tried to tell her parents, her friends, but they just explained it away as her own thoughts, her own instincts, but it wasn’t that. It was foreign. Distinctly other.
Always in the back of her mind, always imposing its own will on hers. Lauren could fight back, and ignore it, but whenever she did, it was a pressure trying to cave in. As time went by, she stopped asking about it, and learned to ignore it.
Though it was always looming in the background. A whisper of danger.
