“Are you tired?” he asked after a couple of seconds, knowing what he meant I glanced to my bed. “Terribly.” I spoke, shifting my vision back to him. The north of my compass.
“Let us be tired together then.” Reiner extolled. His legs spread under the table as he slid his arms to cross gently.

Samuel Flyte was one of many soldiers there for much of the war between the Iron Order and Averfell, a mercenary who fought in the desperate defense in the Second Siege of Westhold Keep, the only remaining castle and major recruitment centre for much of Averfell's standing army between the Order and the capital of the Kingdom of Averfell.Thankfully, Flyte kept journals. A small selection of entries, mostly relating to Averfell and the Order, have been recovered, translated, and compiled.
