3. Experience sex (preferably before dying).Fred Weasley was calculated to be the variable of least resistance. He was supposed to be a stress-reliever, keeper of secrets, and a one-time thing. But when a tactical retreat turns into months of hiding, that "one-time thing" becomes a lifeline. Hermione realizes that she forgot to account for two things: the undeniable chaos of hormones and even the best laid plans can go awry.

Summary
An ultra slow burn Drarry that begins with a Fifth-Year retelling and continues through the final battle at Hogwarts.
Harry begins to distrust Dumbledore after the events of his fourth year, turning to an unlikely source for knowledge and information. The Occupation of Malfoy Manor by Voldemort leads Draco down a path that diverges significantly from the rest of his family. Harry being made a Prefect sets in motion a large rift in the Golden Trio, ultimately resulting in irreparable damage. Harry learns what real friendship is and who he can trust while making several self-discoveries along his path to rid the Wizarding World of Voldemort for good.
There are several plot points from the original source material that remain unchanged and are therefore only referenced and implied. While I don't care for the author's personal views, I enjoy her writing and will not be re-writing anything that happens as they appeared in the books. This fic is long enough as it is! There will be author notes for any chapter that includes or alludes to these scenes.
Please make note of the canonical character death tag and remember what happens in Order of the Phoenix.

I love eighth year fics so I thought I would take a turn at writing my own with a twist.I may have taken ideas from other fics, so if you see familiar tropes, that is probably why. I am first a reader then a writer, so I get many of my ideas from stories I have read. There is gonna be a twist near the middle of the story.

Harry Potter had a rough childhood, he knows when he's wanted and when he is not. It takes him a while to be loudly himself and settle into his family, the real family, the family that cares.
Luna kind of talks in her riddles, but mostly not.
Harry brings out the best and worst in people. He's soft with his family but a force to be reckon with if you're against him.
This book will be the first in a series. The next book will be a further emphasis on Severtitis and Blaise/Harry/Theo likely Post Hogwarts, but it's not certain yet. -
