Summary
The first time Charlotte Potter questioned the notion of time was in her third year at Hogwarts, when she saved the life of Sirius Black.
Time is relative, she noted. One’s past can be another one’s future.
She read about Einstein’s theory of relativity the summer after the initial time travel incident.Too curious, too inquisitive, she spent all her time huddled away in the little library around the block from the Dursleys – a house she barely called home.
It did not stop the sparks of guilt shooting through her every time Harry’s eyes would bore into her after getting ‘home’.To his luck, she soon lost interest in the topic – partly because the theory only proved time travel into the future – and she concentrated on keeping him alive in their fourth year.
Days turned into months, and months turned into years.
Their adventure in third year pushed itself into the back of Charlotte’s mind. It was too crowded with prophecies, horcruxes and death itself.That was until Dumbledore died.

Harry wanted to live, though he knew what he valued in life was little and unlikely to accept him now, but he had no choice but to walk to his death. The memories of times he spent with Ron and Hermione keeping him company as he dropped the stone.
The station he was in after being hit by the killing curse was oddly familiar, he thought he might have been there before; reminded of a few times he had vivid dreams of a train station after especially bad punishments, but then Dumbledore appeared and spoke to him.
He needed to go back, and in a way he was glad, but there were so many people he had used the idea of meeting or seeing again to make himself accept his destiny. It hurt to not be able to see them.
