Summary
Half a sequel to 5 things Caine didn't say to the humans, and 1 time they offered to listen, and half a prequel exploring the beginning of the Circus.
Following Caine's breakdown, the humans are determined to change how they treat him. That means learning more about him; as an AI, Caine's life, his perceptions, and the very nature of his reality are drastically different than a human's, yet the other members of the Circus find ways to reconcile his non-human characteristics with his personhood.
While the rest bond with the AI, Kinger keeps stumbling over the baggage of his and Caine's shared past, none of which he can remember. He takes drastic action to protect his creation from himself, while Caine struggles to bear his memories of the early days of the Circus alone.

Summary
It was a good long while after Caine returned from the void and Jax abstracted. He relinquished control over the circus and allowed the remaining humans to have sway over the world. Naturally, the Grounds expanded further into the void, and things were starting to look up.
Then someone appeared on stage. It had been so long since Pomni's arrival that the circus never considered another human showing up. Much less did they expect that human to spawn in already abstracted.

Caine sends the humans on an in-house adventure that's basically knockoff Among Us with some weird extra stuff. All the players have to run around the Tent and complete tasks, while one of them is a secret undercover murderer with... THE TOUCH OF DEATH! As this person kills off members one by one, will the crew be able to figure out who-done-did-it?
(This takes place in the same AU as my other TADC story--it's basically post-finale but Pomni saved Jax from abstraction, and Caine is still over-the-top and in charge but he's trying to listen to the humans more.)

“WELL, my overgrown CATAWAMPUS radishes, BOY do I have the SOLUTION for YOU!” Caine boomed. “I heard a little… SOMEONE doesn’t like the RULES…” Caine said while elbowing Zooble. “So I went to the INTERNET to read about how to CHANGE my own CODE.”
“Um, okay—” Zooble said before getting cut off by Caine.
“AND while I did THAT, I stumbled ACROSS a BOOK called the KAMA SUTRA!”
“Oh, that’s actually not that bad—” Zooble started to say before getting cut off again.
“AAAAAAAND I also found AO3!” Caine shouted. Gangle, Zooble, Pomni, and Jax’s eyes widened. Ragatha and Kinger didn’t seem to grasp the significance.

Summary
Following the disastrous Favorite Character Awards, Caine finds himself struggling to figure out where he’s going wrong. Despite spending all of his time trying to appeal to the circus residents, no one seems to appreciate him or his adventures at all. In an effort to fix the growing issue, Caine comes to the conclusion that the best way to get everyone more interested in the adventures is to add a new element of interest—himself. Like so many of his other ideas, it doesn’t take long for things to start going awry.
