The two men looked up at the two-story suburban Ottawa house. Strings of multicoloured lights twirled around the squat, snow-covered cedar trees in the front yard, and a little cobblestone walkway curved up from the driveway toward the porch.
Shane looked over his shoulder and grinned. “You’re scared of my parents now?”
Ilya raised one dubious eyebrow. “Is not just your parents inside. Also there are aunts. Uncles.” He shuddered dramatically. “You should not have told me about Great Aunt Alice.”
Shane laughed. “It’s fine. Just ignore everything she says, and the rest are all gonna love you.” He leaned up on his tiptoes and kissed Ilya’s rough-stubbled cheek. “Just like I do.”
“Like you do?” Ilya wiggled his eyebrows up and down, and Shane saw the start of a mischievous grin twinkling in his eyes. “This will make this party much more interesting.”

His early years passed in a simple manner, holding tightly to his older brother's hand, dedicating every part of himself to being worthy of sharing a last name with someone so admirable, accompanying him every step of the way with the hope of fulfilling the dreams they had imagined since childhood. Because, in that future Rin visualized so clearly, Sae would be the best forward in the world, and he would be second, always running by his side, always admiring him as he rose above everyone else with that ease that only geniuses possess so innately.
But everything changed when figure skating first appeared in his life. Or at least, it was the moment when the younger brother realized he had his own interests that didn’t revolve around Sae.
It was then that, unknowingly, the beginning of the end of the life he had so meticulously planned started, and the reason that would end up distancing them. And maybe they would never be the same again, never love each other in the easy, natural way that two innocent brothers do, who only imagine a better future.
However, the real world is complex and cruel. Childhood dreams must be left behind to face reality.

Primus is utterly sparkbroken at the countless needless deaths of his beloved creations, his children. The once great cities that his children had laboured, loved, and defended now sit in ruins, the great roads his children built to traverse and explore their home now glowing in with spilt lifeblood.
And his Prime....his last blessed child....now stands in a battlefield that was once a home....forced to fight the one who they trusted the most, loved the most, now grieve the most.
How could he have let this get this far?
How did he not see the suffering his children were enduring while he slept?
Why was it only now he notices? On the eve of his own deactivation?So for the first time since the activation of the Thirteen, Primus acted to protect his creations.
However....
It would have been nice if he had ASKED them whether or not the now two mortal enemies minded sharing the same body.

Enquanto o Sabo recontava pela trigéssima vez sobre o que aconteceu em Dressrosa pro Dragon, ele finalmente dá atenção para o nome secreto que o Luffy usou e começa a ter memórias da falecida esposa dele... Lucy...
Basicamente a fic vai contando desde o momento que Dragon e Lucy se esbarraram até quando o Luffy tem quase 2 anos, que é quando a Cipher Pol descobre sobre eles e acabam matando a Lucy. Dragon foge com o Luffy inconsciente pelo trauma de ver a mãe morrer e algumas poucas coisas que ele pegou da casa (tipo o álbum de fotos que a Lucy fez) logo após enterrar a esposa.
Muito angst, muito choro, principalmente quando o Dragon se escondia pra visitar o Luffy de longe em Fuusha e acabou ouvindo ele falar que não tem mãe ou pai... PQ QUE TEM QUE SER TÃO TRISTE?????
Mas no fim tem uma pequena resolução do futuro pós final de One Piece onde o Dragon vai dar uma olhada no Luffy logo após a batalha acabar, Dragon pede desculpas por não ter estado lá por ele e o Luffy só "mas você estava, não? O vento que sempre brincava comigo era você".
