Sideswipe had a complicated relationship with Primus. He supposed the deity liked to have a good laugh at his expense, what with Sideswipe's habit of jumping helm-first into trouble, hence his gift of dumb luck must have been a token of appreciation. From where Sideswipe had landed, it seemed more like a curse in disguise.
At the next scuff of noise, he whirled around to glare at the startled optics trailing behind him. "For the last time, stop following me around!"

So this was how he was going out. Saddening. Significantly less exciting than he'd've hoped for.
The small cobalt mech took aim and pulled the trigger, not even bothering to turn tail and flee. No, it would catch up within a few strides and shred him, strewing sinew all over the battlefield. The mech didn't look right–-whatever the hell that meant.
A shrill screech echoed through the battlefield as it grabbed him and slammed him to the ground, sending dust into the air. The resulting shriek that left Crankcase was, quite honestly, embarrassing. In his defense, there was some sort of not-mech throwing him down (his helm cracked painfully against the packed dirt) and attempting to restrain him, servos grasping at his chassis clumsily and tendrils covering what couldn’t be accessed by hands. He didn’t know what it was after, but whatever it was, Crankcase knew he did not want it to gain access. It was a primal fear that he really couldn’t explain past fucking look at the thing!

The medic looks down into Fulcrum’s frame, huffing despite his servos beginning to work soothing circles into the formerly violent ache in Fulcrum’s hip joint; the technician feels too much relief to be bashful.
”Told ya your frame would start acting up cause you rejected treatment.”
The pain in his hip growing back like a parasite elicits another groan of pain, and then a sigh. The entire few cycles after the suite incident, Spinister had been relentlessly trying to get him to agree to this “treatment” and maybe before he would’ve been fine with it, but now? The entire idea of Spinister touching his plating so…intimately sends his spark into overdrive...
or alternatively, Fulcrum being a magnesium deficient dumb aft, Spinister trying to help him (and also them ruining crankcases movie night, feat. Krok), + more insanity

At the time, Fulcrum hadn’t thought much of the single, he was used to being squished with Misfire anyway. It would be a little awkward if it was Krok or Crankcase, but he’d live. Spinister and Grimlock would surely be exempt and have their own berth due to their size.
“I win!”
Spinster dumbly cheered, waving his stick as Fulcrum deadpanned with his matching lot. It would be his luck that both him and Spinister pulled the single.It wasn’t that Fulcrum hated Spinister’s company, by now he was used to the medic hovering behind him, but his relationship with Spinister was…unexplored to say the least...
Or alternatively, Spincrum hang out and have to share a couples suite. Spinister exercises his medical license privileges on Fulcrum as well.

Distraught, Misfire decides to go and see the 'other' Grimlock that exists on Earth and try to see if they might be the actual same Grimlock with the same kind of love. But when that ends in an even more devastating realisation, Misfire might finally accept Fulcrum and just in time as the Scavenger's antics on video are making them money and an unexpected sparkling might bring them even more attention.
