James Sunderland knows what Silent Hill is really about. After coming to accept what did to his wife, he left, taking Laura along with him. 𝘖𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘯 𝘶𝘯𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘭 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘶𝘱 𝘢𝘵 𝘢 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵. On a cold day, he meets a young woman at a bus stop. Asking where she was heading, she said she's going to a 'college' in Silent Hill. After hearing where she was heading, there was an eerie pull James felt towards this woman. Not to follow her- but to potentially save her from what is waiting for her.
(F/n) (l/n) is drawn to the town Silent Hill due to a letter she received in the mail about a new college being added. With a difficult life situation at home, this seemed like a chance to get away. But this chance to escape her demons weren't behind her at all. Upon entering this hell of a town, (f/n) is confronted by the horrors of her mind and past. Different monsters tormenting her at any given time. The passer of judgment, Pyramid Head, following her at every corner to make her face what she did and 𝘄𝗵𝗼 she is.

Basically, a quick little story of Silent Hill 2 after the Leave ending. I have yet to play the original but I adored the remake.
