“I got all the time in the world to worry about meeting someone, so don’t you dare get all excited about playing matchmaker and introducing me to every new person you come across. Besides,” she grabbed both of their glasses, finishing off what champagne remained in each flute.
“It's not like the love of my life is going to just waltz into town one day.”
Leah thought she was done with love, but after the events from two years ago she's not necessarily opposed to it anymore. That's not to say she's going to go looking for it either. It'll happen if it happens.
That being said, she never anticipated Rowan.

The surprise will be outside.” Kaltenecker, who had followed her since she started to leave, lowed at her. “Hey there, sweet girl,” Leah said as she used both hands to lovingly scratch under her chin.

She had grown distrustful of the soulmate marks due to her past experiences, and doesn't want to be burned again. But she can't seem to confirm or deny what she's heard, and the woman who is possibly the one for her acts cold and distant whenever Leah is around.
Haley takes a while longer to figure out why Leah had even asked her to the Flower Dance the year prior, but now that she knows, it's the only thing she can think about. She decides it's better to rip the bandage now, no matter how much all of this soulmate business terrifies her.

Vale Humilité has never been what one might call lucky. Ze never had a lot of friends growing up and years of toiling away in the academic system led to a sum total of a thankless job at the soulless Joja Corporation. When the inheritance of a farm gives Vale a new chance at life, ze uproots everything and heads out to Stardew Valley to start anew!
Only starting a new life isn't so simple. The farm is overgrown and has seen better days, the public services have fallen into disrepair, and the cold corporate fist of Joja has made its way to the valley. To make matters worse, several embarrassing incidents leave Vale's social prospects looking even lower than they were in high school, right down to getting wedgied by the gridball quarterback.
None of that stops Vale though! Determined to find new purpose, Vale sets out to restore Pelican Town with the help of mysterious creatures from another world. With a little luck, Vale might even find a place for zyrself in this little community.
