That’s how people made friends with Pokémon, right? The Pokémon Championship battles only showed fights and never discussed how the trainers met their Pokémon, with the exception of a few vague “found in the depths of the Dogobogo Jungle” or “saved from an abusive trainer.” He was pretty sure the one documentary said that Pokémon and humans bonded over food first, so offering Rookidee food was how it was done, right?

Since I was young, I knew that my life had been planned for me from the very beginning. I was the heir to Belrose Industries, the largest pokeball and trainer item manufacturer on the continent. My parents would likely arrange a marriage for me, and I'd be expected to simply keep the family business going before passing it on to whatever children I had.
Unfortunately, since I was young I had also known I was a she, rather than a he. That tossed a bit of a wrench into everything.
With some help I left those expectations behind, with one catch: by law I had to go on a Pokémon journey. Oh well, me and my little knight can just focus on filling out the Unova region's pokedex- Whats that? Crazy terrorists hellbent on taking peoples Pokémon away? Some weird white stone and some ghost claiming to be a hero? A cute green-haired terrorist with an egg practically made of titanium?... Are we sure it's not too late for me to just stay in Nuvema Town?
This story is based on the plot of Pokémon Black and White, and will eventually be covering the plot of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.
