“Dude, I swear to God.” Josh says, and Tyler wrinkles his nose, thinking of what he learned about Josh at Church. “They were dead people. Like—really, dead, but they were running around, and breaking shit, and biting people. I watched—you know the guy who runs the convenience store across the street?” Tyler nods. “I watched one rip his fingers off.” Josh grabs the backpack he’s wearing, swinging it to the ground and setting it on the floor.

Tyler is what his family wants him to be, a good, religious man, engaged to a woman; Josh stopped going to Church six months ago and hasn't seen his family since. Oh, and there's a zombie apocalypse. Somehow that's the least important aspect of Tyler's life right now.

He would never be the type of person to use powers like this for good. This streak he has been on seems shocking, in hindsight. He has known his tendency towards the self-destructive, the demonising, for a long time- so, it was only a matter of time before he listened to the greyer, more compelling ideas, and acted on them.

During the shoot for Snapback, Tyler learns he has the power of a Bishop: by connecting with the prop antlers he can move things without touching them, and, more importantly, he can seize. Take total command of another person's body, place his consciousness in their mind. What starts as an innocent yet guilt-inducing play with supernatural abilities sends him into moral panic tailspin over using this new power whilst keeping it a secret. Add it to the stress of filming and then touring, and he runs the risk of running himself into the ground. Of giving over, finally, to the nastier side of his need for control.
At least, that's how Tyler sees it.

“Come here,” Josh gets to his feet jerkily, a puppet strung along on strings as he moves closer. "Sit still."
Josh obeys. Of course he does. He has no other choice. The collar affixed around his neck makes sure of that.
The stranger stares down at him with kind brown eyes, a gentle hand reaching forwards, brushing against Josh's fur. He straightens up to face the shopkeeper with a nod.
"I'll take him."

Tyler is lonely and impulsively decides to wander into a magical animal shop to buy a cute dog to keep him company. Josh, a shifter stuck in his dog form and cursed by a Sorcerer to obey every command given to him, isn't as fond of the idea.

After their summer festival run wrapped up, twenty one pilots went radio silent.
A “mental health break”.
That’s what the media was calling it.In reality, Tyler and Josh couldn’t be in the same room without it ending in a screaming match. Small disagreements caused full blown arguments, with their largest one happening after their Sommo Festival performance. It was brutal. Messy. Violent.
And it resulted in Tyler blocking Josh on everything.
While fans were convinced that this was just a short break, Tyler didn’t know if the band would ever come back. He couldn’t quite let go of Josh’s words, taunting echoes that ricocheted through his mind, haunting the halls of his head.
When Mark finally becomes fed up of being the middle man, a 2 month long tour across the United States mysteriously pops up on the band’s website, forcing Tyler and Josh to put their differences aside and unite under one common goal.
Will they be able to put their hatred aside for the sake of their fans and careers? Or will the band crumble to the ground?
