They’re in a massive concrete room, devoid of color and life excluding the checkered tiles, with a solitary ball pit right at the center. After losing his mother and part of his leg at just three years old, Michael has to come to terms with the new normals of his life. His father grows more distant over time, eventually remarrying and having two kids withhis wife. But, as is usual with the Afton family, it isn't long until tragedy strikes and their fragile happiness is destroyed, leaving behind a broken family held together by nothing more than a shared name. As the years go by, Michael realizes that there's more to his father than he knew as a kid. Now an adult, Michael decides to search for his father, undoing all of the horrible and twisted crimes William left in his wake. And hopefully, by the end of all of this, the Afton name will disappear into the flames of history.
