Our world has advanced considerably in the last two centuries. Countries have mostly fallen by the wayside, replaced by semi-autonomous Megacities. In Pacific MegaCity, which covers most of the old western U.S., Game Freak is about to unveil their latest and greatest, possibly last true masterpiece alongside Sony-Nintendo's newest, true virtual reality console.
Set partially in Pacific MegaCity in the year 22XX, and mostly in a semi-future, semi-AU reboot of Kanto (other regions possible in future), Truth and Lies explores the dangers of a society that thrives on class warfare, hedonism, and capitalism run rampant... and what happens when those people are put into a much cleaner, more 'natural' world. Only one thing is truly certain, though. Separating Truth from Lies will be harder than any of them expect. -
