Summary
A war is raging outside of the walls of the palace that Katsuki Bakugou has grown up in and the prince is damned to do nothing but watch. This, paired with the slow death that is creeping up to his sick mother, has made him lose his temper more frequently than usual, sending him into sudden outbursts that neither he nor anyone else can control. Things only get worse when his father, the last person Katsuki seems to respect, has to leave the kingdom to establish a peace treaty with the opposing countries.
Not wanting to leave his son alone, since the rebels could be after him, the King calls his best and most experienced soldier in the army to guard Katsuki and follow him wherever he might go.
Izuku Midoriya would rather throw himself out of the window than do that, but who can dare to disrespect the King's orders? Back in the palace, where he grew up with the hot headed bastard he now has to watch over like a child, he tries to find his way back into his life outside the battleground and tries not to drown in childhood memories of him and the boy he has once loved.
Easier said than done.Or: Izuku is a cool bodyguard/soldier and Katsuki (prince of the kingdom) is NOT having it
