The creeper hybrid’s knees feel weak as his instincts scream at him to run, but he feels stuck.
He’s finally able to turn around and sees what’s freaking out his instincts so much.
On the other side of the small square pit sits about three different cats, most likely having fallen in before Doc, having been wandering around the village.
One locks eyes with Doc, mewing up as him and Doc feels sick.
In his head he can tell himself he’s fine, he’s safe, that the cats can’t hurt him that much and he has nothing to be scared of, he can get out of this pit easily, but he can convince his body.
He starts to shake uncontrollable, breathing picking up as his body starts to freak out.
The mad scientist can feel a panic attack taking over his body but can’t stop it, the instinctual fear creepers have towards cats taking over his body.
or, Doc's a creeper hybrid and creepers are scared of cats :3

It wasn’t that Doc didn’t like people. It was that he didn’t like a large amount of people. Especially when he wasn’t prepared for it.
To put it simply; he liked people in moderation.
So, although the idea of a starter village this season sounded absolutely spectacular, it also sounded absolutely horrible. He would live with it though. Doc liked the Hermits, and it's not like he had to worry about anything getting in the way. Or him doing anything he'd regret. Anything like that wasn't a possibility.
