Summary
Virgil has been hopelessly crushing on his neighbor Logan for over a year, quietly enduring his unrequited feelings. Meanwhile, Virgil's roommate Roman is in full-blown meltdown mode over his twin brother Remus dating both Roman and Virgil's sworn enemy: Janus. At least that keeps things… distracting.
Until Logan gets a new roommate, Patton, who takes a liking to Roman and starts dropping by more often. And of course, he’s never alone. Logan comes with him.

Summary
Logan’s family is unique. They live far away from the safe borders of the local kingdom, aware that they would never be welcomed there. Janus, Virgil, Patton, and the twins had no choice but to live as outcasts. Each of them had been unfairly banished from civilization due to their enchantment, an underserved punishment, as they had only been collateral damage in the war against those who wield magic. The outlawed witches retaliated against unjust laws, but often times, children were caught in the crossfire. It was the story of their family, for all of them had been unfairly cursed.
All of them, but Logan.
Their family consisted of a scaled superhuman, an arachnid-man hybrid, a werewolf, two winged twins with unnatural abilities, and the peculiar Logan.
As they come upon the 10-year anniversary of Logan’s adoption into the family, Janus begins to worry. He has his hands full caring for their strange family of 6, but he grows distraught as his 19 year old Logan continues to pull away. He hopes the answer to the problem is simple, but deep down, he knows Logan is anything but.

Parts of Thomas or not, it's certainly unrealistic (and probably a bit unfair as well) to expect all of the Sides to immediately like him, just because he and Thomas were dating.
If Janus doesn't like him, then that's alright. Nico can deal. But more than anything, he wants to know if there's a reason why.or the one in which janus is Very Stubborn when it comes to liking nico, and nico is Equally Stubborn when it comes to finding out why—not to mention, winning him over.

“Roman? You’re starting to act like an obsessed fan,” Remus answers. “Really, it’s not a good look on you, Ro. I’m only into clingy girlfriends when they’re yandere. Did you lose your phone, too? I can’t believe I’m—was that a siren?”
“Yeah, hey,” Roman says, checking behind him to make sure no one is following. He’s far enough away that no one would think he’s from the scene, if they noticed him at all. Most of the pedestrians had noticed the billowing smoke peaking over the other buildings and everyone was sharing shocked conversations and pointing while Roman rushed by. But of course another firetruck chose that moment to come barrelling down the road, sirens blaring and direction set towards the street Roman had been on minutes ago. “Hey, uh…. Don’t turn on the news.”
