Just so he could read how they portrayed his winnings on the track team and to look at the pictures she took of him during his races. They were just two loners who seemed to do increasingly well stuck together.

I have not written for forever and Ryuji is the only thing that has brought me back tbh. uhhh
WHILE WRITING THIS, I HAVE NOT FINISHED THE INGAME STORY. I will try and give updates on where I am at the end of each chapter so it'll be clear on where I am in my knowledge on the canon story.
Either way, the story itself will most likely only go up to Palace 3 or 4 if I'm feeling chipper.

For hours they'd been sneaking around the castle, running on nothing but fumes, vendettas, and some bottles of champagne they found. Being a little tired hardly mattered to her, though. All that mattered was bringing her tormentor, the man responsible for her best friend's death, to justice. But dark determination alone couldn't fuel her revenge, they still needed to take breaks. And so, they sat in a safe room, talking about whatever as they hoped to relax.
Surely this wouldn't turn into her coming out as bisexual to her new friends. Nope. Definitely not.

The next - there’s light. Smoke. A loud explosion, and Ann is nearly thrown overboard. She grabs the side of the boat to steady herself, looking back up, eyes darting around to try and see if Ryuji’s okay -
