Teucer squinted through the trees as well and froze.
Just past the curtain of needle-heavy spruce branches, his eyes found a dark, moving, huge shape. It ambled through the snow, movements uncaring and yet placed with a military precision, like a shadow brought to life and granted courage and pride beyond any mortal man’s understanding. The beast seemed to know that nothing would dare get in its way- that it was in complete control of the forest.Well that fragment doesn't make it seem all that fluffy, but I think it's the most interesting part, so.
Childe and Teucer go into the forest and come across a bear. Which is a bit serious. Teucer got tracking lessons from Childe beforehand, though, so there should still be fluff? -

Dans sa 1er vie, Childe, le 11e exécuteur des Fatuis meurt misérablement aux mains de son amant, Morax (connu sous Zhongli après avoir abandonné son titre d'Archon). Accusé d'avoir tué Xiao, il a été déshonoré. Après sa mort, il se réveille dans un lieu étrange où il devient un participant lié à un système. Ce système lui dit qu'il a été sélectionné pour jouer le rôle d'autres personnages dans différents univers et qu'il doit accomplir des missions pour récupérer des points. Childe n'ayant pas le choix va donc vivre 167 vies différentes.
A la fin de sa 168e vie, on lui annonce qu'il se réveillera dans son corps durant sa 1er vie. Sa mission durant cette vie est "devenir le grand vilain de cet histoire". Bien sûr, il apprend que l'univers elle-même est une histoire interactive centrée sur les 2 jumeaux : Lumine et Aether et que Childe qu'importe les choix du lecteur sera le grand vilain. A son réveil quelques semaines après l'apparition du voyageur, Childe décide d'accomplir sa mission correctement et devenir le grand vilain de l'histoire et cette fois, il sait quoi faire sans finir torturer et tuer par son amant, tout en devenant le boss final de cet univers !

“All of your names,” it says. “Names are a powerful tether to the human world.”
Tonia heaves a breath. “Okay. Our names are Anthon, Tonia and Teucer.”
Suddenly, it feels like a weight in her chest has been pulled away. A part of her forced out. The fae widens its eyes, flexing its claws.
“Very well,” the fae chirps, “you all may come with him to our realm.”
Mama has taken care of Tonia, Anthon and Teucer alone for as long as she can remember, until their village is beseiged by invaders. Sent into the woods to run for safety, Tonia and her brothers are instead tricked into a fae contract by one of the malicious fae residing in the woods' parallel realm.
But this mysterious fae, 'Childe', seems far more familiar than one of the supernatural should ever be.

Ajax, allegedly, is just a debt collector that does his work and does it well. No one knows that he and Tartaglia, the infamous assassin plaguing the nights of Liyue, are one and the same. And Kaeya, allegedly, is just a mother of a daughter getting by without the father in their picture. No one speaks of the work he does late at night, of the time and body he gives after Liyue left every other door shut for him.
They hate their jobs. They hate what they do. But for the ones they love, they would give anything to make sure they're okay. So even as it eats them alive from inside, they put a smile on their faces and keep at it. Anything for his brother, anything for his daughter.

Childe didn’t reply for a moment, reluctantly deflating from an attacking position. He was still pissed, that much was true, but he needed to know what his situation was. What sort of contract could have possibly tied him to Zhongli that wouldn’t make him a deserter? What sort of bond they could have made that Tsaritsa wouldn’t dare to challenge? Unless…
The realisation dawned at him with a horrible thud of his heart, at the same time as Zhongli said it out loud, finalising Childe’s fate. “That being said… I initiated an adeptal marriage contract between us.”
Childe would have laughed until he choked if he didn’t have the most violent urge to cry.
Or, saving Childe's life, Zhongli accidentally gets him into an adeptal marriage, which has very interesting consequences for Childe and his still broken heart.

Ajax comes home for Teucer's 18th birthday. However, a damper is put on the festivities when Teucer questions him about what he's really been doing since he moved out.
“It was supposed to be today.” His mother’s voice, anxious and pleading.
His father sighed. “You can’t trust him for anything, can you?”
“…Just give him a few more days. I’m sure there was just an issue with the delivery. Maybe it was caught in a storm."
Were they talking about the package from earlier in the day? But– no, that couldn’t be right. Things like that just didn’t show up for people like them.
