Summary
Gwen Conliffe comes to Talbot Hall drenched in moonlight, and Lawrence loses his heart to a woman who can never be his.
Six years later, she appears in his dressing room at the theatre, beseeching his help. His brother, her husband, has become obsessed with finding the truth out about the recent grisly murders in Blackmoor. Lawrence is helpless to abide to her whim and trespasses back over old hunting grounds, returning to a world he thought he had escaped. Where he must ignore the pangs of his heart, where he will discover the true evil at the core of his ancestral home, where his life is doomed to be forever changed.
