Summary
In the past, Venus and Earth were best friends, an inseparable pair. The two were always said to be siblings, considering how they formed around and woke up around the same time. Venus loved his brother, dearly. Even if his brother was an absolute jerk that got on his nerves and everyone else's as well. Despite all this, Venus still cared for him like the older sibling he was. Then his gravity messes up and sends Theia flying into his brother, causing the most devastating collision possible.
And when his brother wakes up and has no recollection, Venus feels a part of himself die. And when he befriends Mars instead and forgets that Venus existed, another part of him dies. Venus remembers a time when he was the first choice but now, he wasn't and he's jealous. He wants his brother, his best friend back. But he doesn't know how to address it to Earth.
Meanwhile Earth is clueless as hell as to why Venus acts the way he does.
OR: Before the collision, Earth (or Proto-Earth) and Venus were best friends and siblings. After the collision, Earth forgot everything and befriended Mars because something felt familiar about Mars, leaving Venus to stew in his own grief, guilt, and jealousy.

Both the two planets in love were separated forever by the Sun, who doesn't care about their broken hearts.
But Venus and Mars are unable to bear the misfortune of their friends and cannot afford it any longer.
Proto and Theia must be together and together bring life to the universe.

That won't happen in THIS galaxy.

The empty silence of the void around him should be familiar by now. It isn’t the first time he’s been left alone or the last.
Earth laid glumly in his orbit as he waited for…Who was he waiting for? Luna. Right, as he waited for Luna. He told him that he was meeting up at moon club for a few hours, and would send Mars to keep him on his axis, but he hasn’t come yet. Earth’s learned not to get his hopes up anymore. Now he just had to patiently wait for Luna to come back, if he came back. But it’s okay, he can wait. Just him and his thoughts. Together. Alone. What could go wrong?

But nobody came up to tell him what the hell had happened when he was gone, so he stayed quiet.
Venus hated being left in the dark.
But he let Mercury and Mars handle it, occasionally sparing glances at Earth’s orbit where there were always at least two celestials present alongside the Earth.
It sucked for Venus, as everyone was right there in Earth’s orbit, yet he was too afraid to go and talk to any of them.
He was pathetic.
OR
After Earth has another attempt (without Venus realizing) it leaves Venus alone, isolated, (scared), and thinking about his own past experiences.

When he stood, he was panting, the adrenaline already slipping out of his veins. Something deep in him imagined seeing Neith’s reflection next to him, hands clasped over her face, horrified at what he had just done. Horrified that the brother she loved and looked up to could do such an angry thing like this.
Venus stared at his duplicating reflection in the cracks of the mirror, tears welling up in his eyes. Good stars above, this is why he doesn’t dwell on shit like this, because this is the outcome. More tears rolled down his face, and Venus didn’t notice before he started to sob. His entire hand pulsed with pain as he opened his fist, pressing his palms into his eyes and wiping his tears off.

Venus never gave too much thought to his atmosphere before. Sure, he disliked it. The pale look sort of ruined his whole vibe. But it wasn't until later that he grew to hate it. It wasn't until-
“But there is still a reason why us Earthlings have been looking at Mars as a future home over Venus. Venus is just too hot. Your atmosphere keeps all the CO2 inside, causing an intense greenhouse effect. Mars might be cold but it doesn’t melt our equipment. So while you’re both bad for life, one of you is impossible for life. Even in a protective suit.”
Because life. The one thing Venus dreamed of having. Something that he was undoubtedly never going to get, he couldn't have because of his atmosphere.
His atmosphere.
Just one more thing for Venus to hate about himself.

Summary
Jupiter was tempted to turn around. To run, to catch up to the ice giant, to beg him for forgiveness and to please come back. X didn't like him- hated him, which was his right. But even if Jupiter kept the asteroid belt in check- why did that have to mean Planet X couldn't be part of their Solar System? Why did that mean he had to be alone, so awfully isolated, away from his home? Jupiter knew X wanted to come back.
So why did he leave so easily on his own? What happened when Jupiter was banished? What did he-

Jupiter yelped at the sudden voice, actually flinching back into the darkness once more. His anticipation spiked, his heart racing as he glanced up toward the Kuiper Belt- and locked eyes with-

His heart stopped, and his breath stuttered. But then he blinked and looked again.
Neptune smiled at him.

Summary
Venus lives with an unbearable guilt that weighs heavy on his shoulders. He had caused a terrible accident between two of his closest friends. And now he has to live with the consequences of it as the days go by. When Earth begins to question who Theia is, Venus considers telling him the truth, even it may result in the Earth hating him for it. It was something that Venus could live with if it meant sparing him less of the pain of hearing it from someone else.
But when he's given the opportunity to tell him, he fails to follow through with it, panicking and leaving the Earth more confused than before.
Venus needed to reconsider his options. He wanted to tell the truth but he didn't know how and he probably just made the Earth even more suspicious that he was involved with the collision.
OR: Venus tries to tell Earth the truth about Theia and his role in the collision but panics as he's about to tell him the full truth, making a bigger mess of things than before.

The Earth had tried to fling himself into the Sun.
And the only reason he hadn't was apparently because of Mercury and Luna. And even if he's never said it that's something Venus will always be grateful for.
So maybe that's why Venus reacts immediately to the smaller planet's words. The annoyed tone. Because what the actual heck-

The Earth isn't okay. Hasn't been okay. And Venus is realizing the role both he and the others played in that.

Summary
Looking in the mirror and seeing his ugly, jagged surface, is painful. But looking in the mirror and seeing only the very thing that caused that is worse.
Venus hides his atmosphere from the others, but that doesn’t stop the fact that is exist. After the Moon Revolution, the trials, and learning what the Earth tried to do, Mars gets curious.
It brings up more of the past than it should have. And Venus doesn’t want to face that past. Not when so much has changed.
