Summary
The Black Mesa Research Facility was aware of the potential that their experiments could cause a resonance cascade. The simulations they'd run had been quite descriptive of the potential damage such a disaster could cause, particularly if said disaster managed to connect with the border world. At the time, the likelihood had been deemed minimal, and the worst-case projections viewed as all but impossible.
No one could have predicted that such a disaster would not be limited in connections to Xen. Nor could they have predicted just how far-reaching the consequences of their actions would be.
The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world. The question is, will it be enough to change the inevitable?

Summary
I'm not fully caught up in the Old Peace aftermath, but working on it. I've been enjoying it immensely, though, and it's sparked my creativity. So, I casually jotted down a bit of scenes that have been playing out in my head regarding my Drifter and Roathe. I'm not sure this is going anywhere, but I've been having fun with it and figured I'd share it for those who might be interested. I don't really have a set title for this yet either, so forgive the cliche placeholder, lol. (I say from a place of insecurity rather than judgement). Kudos / Comments are always appreciated. <3
Update:
I've now finished the Old Peace, completed the Descendia 21x, and caught up with Roathe's romance. I may not have had a plan with this when I started, but I'm pretty pleased with the direction it's taken. I'm still not sure how many chapters it will have, as I am still working on some stuff. Also, I feel I should warn, I am only lightly editing this. I don't have a lot of time or energy to do an extensive review for each chapter right now, so please forgive any typos or errors found.Anyways, I've had so much fun writing Drifter and Roathe, and I can only hope you have just a good a time reading it!

Nature abhors a vacuum. When a demon is banished from a world, all it leaves is opportunity for another to take its place. When Gwi-ma was blasted out of the picture, it attracted the none-too-tender attentions of another, nearby universe. Nearby in proximity, and on cosmic time scales, in date as well.
The Techrot are showing signs of changing, of evolution faster than anything seen before. Something from the outside is leaking in. The Hex sends a crack team of its members to find what is causing this change and stop it before the year resets and all this might be irreversible.
The Honmoon is secure, there hasn't been a demon sighting in two months, and most importantly, they've been on hiatus the whole time. It's probably the most peaceful time Huntrix have ever had to themselves ever since they became idols and hunters. What's up next for them? A new song, of course. There's only nine months until the Idol Awards again, and they have to, absolutely have to win this time. Their only competition is this new 90's nostalgia band from overseas that's gone viral overnight, and they're nothing Huntrix haven't handled before... right?
