Summary
With a nation to rebuild and political relationships to maintain, Lyney could feel his blond hair start to turn gray with each passing week. Forcing himself to make nice with a Duke he loathed and dealing with feelings he never wanted to challenge in the first place certainly didn’t make things any easier. At least the young magician was fairly confident that his life couldn’t possibly get any worse than this.
And perhaps the ominous shadow lingering around the Fortress was all a figment of his imagination and not at all a genuine threat to his person.

"Yes of course, a 'minor affliction'." Kaeya parrots his own words with an accusatory tone that nearly makes Diluc wince at the harshness. "Because only a minute issue could cause a sneeze to become a potential fire hazard."
