Dream has a lot of work and is going crazy paying off his father's debt and paying for his sister's college tuition. A teenage vigilante and an annoying group of villains are definitely not helping his mental state. If in the process he has to investigate the mystery of Pandora's Vault, then this will be just one of his problems along with a broken coffee machine.

Tommy liked feeling small. But more then that, he liked feeling like a small kitten.
He liked cat ears and playing with balls of yarn, and curling up in a little ball to take a nap. None of this was a problem until Wilbur and Tubbo came to stay at his house for a week, and he had to hide both a littlespace, *and* a kittenspace.
And when Tubbo continuously calls him a "kitten" due to his results on a stupid internet "what animal am I" quiz, and Wilbur literally pets him while cuddling, he realizes he wasn't going to last a day.
He was simply a little kitten. And now his friends knew that.

“Ever heard about the sea monster?” Jack asks him, chewing obnoxiously.
Logan pauses to shoot a sharp glare over his shoulder. “I’m already pissed about the nets. Please don’t piss me off worse.”
The ‘sea monster’ (a little dramatic if you ask Wade) watches, just his bright eyes and his weird little ears poked from the water to listen. What? He doesn’t get a lot of excitement in his daily diet.
Wade doesn’t think himself a monster. It’s just boring in here all alone! He may be part fish, but he’s still just a man in all the ways that count: stupid, funny, dog-brained, and he wants to have fun. God, he’s dying!
…Besides, every time he chews a hole in one of this guy’s nets, he gets to watch those huge arms flex on its drag back out. Mmfh.
OR
Logan is a fisherman. Wade, the town’s fabled “sea monster” (too much credit if you ask Logan) makes his job impossible.

Summary
Every six years, someone is chosen to make the trip to the Golden Serpent's temple. No one comes back. When his daughter's name is pulled, Wade Wilson says fuck that shit.

There is no mistaking him. A man’s torso, broad shoulders and a surprisingly furry chest and abs, hips that break out in dazzling golden scales and give way to an impossibly long, thick tail. No horns, though. The Serpent’s hair is long, brown with a bronze luster to it, with charming cowlicks on either side. He can see how the silhouette of such a creature could seem like a horned monster. In the firelight, though, he’s glorious. It dances gleefully across his golden jewelry which somehow seems dull in comparison to his scales.
“Holy fucking shit,” Wade breathes.
The Serpent approaches.
“Are you gonna eat me?”
That seems to take the Serpent off guard. “Well…yeah.”Series
