After an hour of just sitting there and crying, Yoichi finally felt like it was safe enough to move. He got up, grabbed his 2 remaining books and shoved them in his bag and took slow steps out of the dark alley. On his way home he passed by the same clothing store from before. They were selling football jerseys since the sport was popular at the time of the world cup. He was just about to enter the shop to admire the jersey with number 9 on it, when something caught his attention.
A blond boy with blue eyes, holding his mother's hand and pointing at one of the manequins in the display window, and another blond boy, staring at the pair with something similar to sadness in his eyes. The 2 boys looked almost identical. Almost. For starters, the sad looking boy looked poor. Maybe even homeless. His lips were chapped, his bones were visible and his skin was pale. On the other hand, the happy looking boy was wearing expensive clothes and had a slightly chubby face. Happier and healthier than the former. "I guess life isn't fair to all of us' Yoichi thought as he entered the store.
